Sweet sixteen ideas anyone?!
i am not turning sixteen for a while but does anyone have any ideas for it Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'll give you as many themes as I can think of right now, and some sites for other ideas or planning!. Hope it helps in any way!
1) Holiday Theme Parties- Play fantasy dress up for your favorite holiday!. ex: Winter Wonderland (including fake snow) Or try having it be a holiday set in one of your fave destinations!.
Game(s)- Karaoke/Sing Alongs- It's not really a game, but everyone loves it!. Simply sing any songs having to do with holidays, whether traditional or personal faves!.
2) Disney/Animation Theme- Have your friends show up as 'princesses' and the guys can be their 'Knights' there to rescue them!. You can get decor featuring your favorite kids movies like backgrounds of the castles or animals!. ex: Alice In Wonderland seems to be a fave of many girls!.
Game(s)- Have a trivia test like 'Have You Seen It' and write questions about Cartoon movies on flash cards so you can quiz all your friends!. For better results try rewarding them with candy or other party favors!.
Play "Musical Charades"- It's not very hard, but have your friends guess the movie/musical from the song you sing, or you can go with the normal 'silence' and act out scenes from the movie!.
3) Hollywood/Action Movies- Play as your favorite celebrities in a 'movie' setting!. You can play your favorite flicks on a TV or projector while you celebrate!.
Game(s)- "Celebreality'
Have your friends split up into groups and pick their fave genre of movies, then act out a skit for everyone in the character they came as!. If some of your friends didn’t have costumes, then slap some name tags on them and make them act out whomever!.
4) Surfin' Party- Have your guests dress in the typical 'surfer dude' wear, and head out for a day at a private or quiet beach!. (or your pool!.)
Game(s)- The game everyone knows-- Marco Polo, only in water is so much more fun with a lot of friends and a big pool!.
"Water Volleyball"- Playing this on land can be hard for some people, but try it in water and you'll sure to have loads more fun!.
5) Hawaiian Beach Luau/ Tiki Party- Get some lays, some fake grass skirts to throw over your swimwear or clothes, find some tiki totem poles, start a 'campfire' instead of a bonfire, get some torches, and get some Hawaiian punch as drinks instead of alcohol!.
Game(s)- Use your imagination since I don't know!.
6) Disco/ Rave Dance Party- There's so many options for this one, but here are some main points!. Get a multi-colored light up disco ball if you can, some colorful placemats or whatever you can think of that lights up on the ground!. Get a lot of glow in the dark gear including bracelets, necklaces, rings, tongue tattoos, glowing tees, stickers, cups and plates, and maybe even G!.I!.T!.D!. hair accessories!. Grab a couple of strobe lights, set up a few large speakers in the backyard or living room, have an iPod or mp3 device that can be put on a random setting, or get an mp3 Jukebox (their awesome) and blast the crowds fave dance tunes!.
7) Festival/ Fair /Parade party- have everyone dress up for their favorite yearly social event, then have different items from each of your themes be present at the party to mix everything together!. Have a 'Parade' of your own by having your friends walk down a hallway giving out gifts that have their theme in mind, and food from different fairs (think strawberry festival) there too!. Ex: Mardi Gras, Renaissance Fair, Ind!. Day Parade!.
8) Masquerade Ball- Dress up really fancy and put on ridiculous masks!. Not that hard at all, and it could be fun!.
Game(s): Start a game of "Guess Who" and try to get your friends to narrow down who you are throguh questions without seeing you!. If your friends know your voice too well, then write things down so they won't know!.
9) Time Setting- Have a great time dressing up like it's a costume party, with any theme of your choice (relating to different time periods in history with different fashions)!. Ex: Renaissance, Victorian, etc!.
10) Rivals Theme- Pick two groups of people or legendary creatures/characters that are notorious for being rivals, and have your friends pick or split up into one of the groups!. Then have fun and creative games pitting the two gangs against each other like laser tag if that is available!. Ex: Pirates vs!. Ninjas, Greeks vs!. Persians, 'Werewolves' vs!. 'Vampires', (Halo) Reds vs!. Blues, etc!. Again nametags work great, or you can wear matching tees for your group's color!.(especially great for RvB, which is my personal fave theme)!.
11) Board Game Theme- Have a fave board game like monopoly or Life!? Why not get a few big blank poster boards or whatever else you can find to make spaces from the game, then tape them together or to the floor!. Get your friends to choose what pieces they are and have a moderator there to make sure no one cheats and to help out!.
12) Treasure Hunt- tell your friends you want them to make a treasure hunt game for your party, and they are to give you clues that lead you to your different presents hidden in secret places!.
