You can have a hula hoop contest:) !.!.!. You need to at least play 50's music, or it won't seem like a 50's party! Get "The Twist" by Chubby Checker - ANYONE can do the Twist! In fact, there's also Peppermint Twist and Dear Lady Twist, and others too:) Get a CD that has the best of the 50's on it; or if you have Direct TV, there's a channel (maybe 803) that plays continuous 50's music!. You could rent "Rebel Without a Cause" and play that movie (James Dean); or "Grease" or any Elvis movie!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your costumes sound more hollywood than 50s!. Most 50s parties are sock-hop, soda-pop, grease etc!. like parties!. If I got an invite to a 50's party that is the type of party I would think it was!. So, you might want to name it something else!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
