I'm starting to plan our wedding what do you think?!
We have little money but lots of family and friends 250 of them!. We're hoping to get married at our village church, then on to the local pub for drinks and a big photo outside, then a small walk to the village hall for the party!.
As we have so many people we need to get a marquee which I can get for nothing from a friend and hiring the hall and field at discount family member is on committee!. Food is the big price!. I'm wanting to go a bit retro and have a fish and chip van and ice cream van there which i think will cost about ￡1300 which is a lot cheaper than buffet or sit down meal!. For favors i'm going to put retro sweets on the table's!. Has anyone got any good ideas!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

i love your idea!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.i worked in hotels for years and saw soooooo many weddings!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.just the typical run of the mill types (yawn)!.!.!.!. lottery tickets or scratch cards are good for favors!! what about edible place names !?!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. or if you want the sweets maybe do like a 10p mix that we used to get in little white bags !.!.!.that woyuld be so cool!.!.!. anyway good luck with the wedding !.!.im sure you will have an amazing dayWww@FoodAQ@Com
I love the idea and have a similar idea for my future wedding (just have to convince FH)!. Retro candy, I love those marshmallow strawberries and bananas!. Sour watermelon slices, coke bottles, sour patch kids, gummy bears, rock candy, suckers or candy apples!. You can also buy M&Ms with your initals and wedding colors!. You can also just go to a bulk barn and fill up bags of random candy and distribute them in plastic bags!.

I think you need a bigger budget for food!. If I go to a wedding, I expect to eat and get full!. If you run out of food, people will always remember that!.
