Pool party tips and ideas!!! HELP PARTY NEXT WEEK!!?!
ok well im having my party next week a pool party!.i just need ideas onto how to keep the party going and have everybody entertained without like!.!.!.forcing them to have fun i guys!.!.!.!? like over oganizing it!?!? but i also need some structure and decoration just how to have the BEST pool party ever there will be about 30 people thereWww@FoodAQ@Com

Put some lounge chairs and waterproof cushions around the pool area this way it becomes a lounge area when people aren't swimming they can sit by the side of the pool and hang out!.
Get an inflatable boat and fill it with ice and make it the cooler for your drinks!. You can float it in the pool, and it will look cool and be there when everyone wants a drink BUT you have to warn everyone NOT to put their caps in the pool or it WILL break the pool's filter! I do NOT think you want that happening! You would have to REALLY make your guests understand that and tell them that all the caps from the drinks MUST go back INTO the boat!!
Get some beach balls and scatter them into the pool, everyone will play around with them!.
Set up a volleyball net in your yard, and play volleyball and badmitten!.
Get an inflatable kiddie pool, fill it with water, break into 2 teams and have a tug of war, the losing team ends up in the water!
You can do an ice cream bar!. Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and some toppings!. Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and marachino cherries and have everyone make their own sundaes!. You can get waffle cone bowls at the grocery store!.
For food, do whatever is your favorite and you know everyone will like!. Have chips and snacks, you can also do platters of fruits!. You can do a bbq with burgers and hot dogs, you can do pizza, you can do a taco bar and have everyone make their own tacos, etc!. Do whatever you like and that's your favorite! For drinks, do soda, water, lemonade and iced tea!.
For decorations, you can get some balloons in your favorite colors and cluster them in the corners of the party areas!. Balloons are festive and always say party!
If the party's going to go until sundown and into the night, get some clear, stringed, Christmas lights and hang them around the pool and party area!. They'll look like twinkle lights and give a festive atmosphere and they're better than having blaring overhead lights of an outside light!.
If you're going to do a fruit platter, get some pineapples and cut off the top and place it aside!. Then clear out the center, that's what you're serving!. At any craft store, get some floral foam, cut it to fit inside the pineapple!. Wet it down and put it down inside the shell!. Then get some white carnations and cut them to where they just meet the top of the pineapple and NO more!. Put them in the foam!. Then take the top of the pineapple and with toothpicks put it back on, but tilting it a little to the side, and then add a neon straw and a drink umbrella!. It will end up looking like a pina colada when you're done only made of flowers! You can make it your centerpieces on the table! You can do these with any glasses too and flowers, do a margariti glass and green flowers, do a beer mug and white flowers (for the foam), BUT the pineapple and the white flowers work best with your theme because of the pool party and the tropical drinks! You can get a glass that a daiquiri would be served in and put water in it with red food coloring and then pink flowers and make it look like a daiquiri and put the straw in that one too!.
Don't forget to have some shaded areas for your guests, so those that can't handle too much sun have the option of the shade!. You can put some fabric over some trees and make a canopy or get some outdoor umbrellas, but make sure to have some shaded areas for them!.
