Is there anything I am forgetting for her 1st b-day party?!

Question: Is there anything I am forgetting for her 1st b-day party!?
Heres my list of what I've already done/gotten:
Invites have been sent
I have goodie bags and treats for the kids
bought plates cups napkins ect
made list of food that I will need (but will get closer to the party)
will be getting balloons the day of
kiddie pool for the kids to play
jump ropes for older kids
have gifts for my daughter
have tables and chairs
Will also order cakes a few days before

I guess thats it!.!.!.
It is an outdoor party but we have a generally really shaded yard!. We have 1 table w/ and umberella!. Do I need to rent a tent or anything!? I dont want people to hang out inside!. Like if they need to use the bathroom thats fine, but otherwise I dont want them hanging around indoors!. but tents are like $500 to rent so do you think I will be ok without one!?

Answers:
Don't forget candles!

Sounds like you are all set!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hard to keep people from going inside, especially if the little ones get tired!. Maybe a different activity for older kids, volleyball or horseshoes might be good, then the adults can get involved as well!. Maybe a water balloon toss, help keep people of all ages cooled off in the summer heat!.

Make sure you set a specific time for the party, that will help with people wanting to hang out long, thus moving the party inside!. Make sure you have adequate seating for the adults to keep them outside!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A tent would be OK for a huge expensive event but for a child's party!? That's too extreme!. You will have to make do with inside if it happens to rain!. 1st birthday parties should be small and informal with close friends and family!. What's most likely to happen is your little one will get cranky and end up inside anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bringing the baby!.!.!.!.it's her party!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sounds like your all set ! I might mention to not forget a camera and extra batteries/film for photos of the birthday girl eating her first birthday cake!.

No tent seems necessary as you have shade available!.I'm certain the guests Will gravitate to the shade and not inside!. Make certain the TV is off just in case!. ~grin~

I have no idea where you live so I will mention if it is hot and muggy that day to not allow older Grandparents to stay outside too long!. Heat is very stressful to seniors body systems, they get heat stroke easily and with their thin skin sunburn occurs as fast as with a baby!. I had a resident of a nursing home come back from an outing to watch a parade with a bad sunburn and heat exhaustion!. Her very loving family just thought they had her out of the sun most of the time!.

Have a great party |!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
