I'm having a little party...suggestions of types of 'finger foods'?!

Question: Anything not too unhealthy...I've already got all the choc fingers and buns/cakes etc. Any more suggestions?

Here are a few easy things:
1. Hummus, pita chips, and salsa
2. Veggie tray
3. Broil some asparagus in olive oil, vinegar, and salt. Great finger food.
4. Broil large chicken sausages (the kind from Costco) and service with a stone ground mustard.
5. Caprese salad-Mozzarella balls (again, from Costco), grape tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper, and olive oil.

Maybe some chips with cheese dipping ?
Orange, apple, grape, rasberry, fruit juices :)

Have a nice party :| Invite me some how lol :O

you could serve sanwich fingers or anything
related to that source.

Pringles, Pringles, Pringles, Pringles Pringles, Pringles, Pringles, Pringles and errrr Pringles.

I usually do toast, cut it into fingers, and add topping.....a bit of lettuce on top before the topping will keep it from going soggy.

When we go to my mates Mums on Halloween she always does a load of finger foods for us to nibble and my favourite is orange and yellow peppers cut into strips with a selection of dips. Also things like celery sticks and cucumber cut onto fingers for dipping. Humous dip is also really nice with the above.

Hope it helps :)

pigs in a blanket is my favorite

Fries, baked chips(they're healither than regular), friut chunks on a stick.

Go to foodnetwork.com
They have a whole entire section for party foods under the "holidays and parties" section then click on all parties they have great food idea and they are really easy to do.

You could do tortilla chips with salsa and low fat sour cream.Veggies dipped in ranch dressing is so good.Ranch dressing does have allot of fat so you could get the lite kind or another kind of dip.Try crackers with different cheeses on top.Maybe pepperone and cheese,Tuna salad on top of a Triscuit cracker.Stuffed mushrooms are delicious.Have fun at your party =)

1. Buy a bunch of frozen mini egg rolls and a jar of duck sauce at the supermarket. Heat according to directions and arrange them on a platter with small bowl of dipping sauce in the center. Place a pile of cocktail napkins and a small glass with toothpicks next to the platter. Also, make sure you supply a waste basket close by so guests can throw away trash.

2. Mini Reubens
Loaf of cocktail Rye
1 pound sliced corned beef
1 can saurkraut, drained and remove most of the liquid
1/2 pound of swiss cheese
1 cup 1000 island dressing

Chop meat, cheese and saurkraut and then mix with dressing. Put a small amount of mixture on each piece of rye bread. Place under broiler for 5 minutes or until heated through and cheese melts. SOOOO good

2 packages of all beef mini franks (or smokies if you like)
14 oz bottle of ketchup
2 TBSP yellow mustard
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

Place hotdogs in large saucepan with lid
pour in all other ingredients, then fill the ketchup bottle with water and shake to clean it out. Add water and cover the pan on low for 2 hours. Remove the cover and let the liquid evaporate and thicken.
Serve in a bowl with a supply of toothpicks close by and napkins as well. Also place a waste basket close for trash.

These are a few ideas I used for Super Bowl (also had deviled eggs) they are all hits with guests. Enjoy! Rob R

Cut veggies are always good. I like to use some things that aren't always common, like blanched snow peas or roasted green beans (400 degree oven, on aluminum foil, tossed with just enough olive oil to coat lightly, for 20 minutes, then sprinkle with salt). Olives are popular and easy, too.

And who doesn't like cheese and crackers?!

Finger foods are the best!

Mini cream puffs, they are really good and come in a white plastic bin, i dont remember the name sorry!
but you could make tiny sandwiches, veggies in some dip is always good, small fruits like apple slices in carmel, strawberries and pineapple.
oooh yes!!!! crackers in crab dip, there are some great recipes just google or yahoo search it. shrimps in cocktail sauce, and cheese and crackers!!!!

Good luck!!!

Easy: mini brioche rolls, mango chutney and extra sharp white cheddar cheese.

Labor intensive but delicious: mini crab cakes with remoulade sauce (more sophisticated than tartar sauce).

Old-fashioned: lamb sausage in puff pastry (like pigs in blankets, but better!), served with different kinds of mustard (try the maple and champagne mustard from Stonewall Kitchen!).

Healthy dips with sliced cucumber, carrot and celery

Yes, deviled eggs are always a hit. You can also serve kabobs using ham/cheese/peppers or whatever you or your guests would like. I also like to serve meatballs. They are easy to make or you can buy them ready made frozen. If you are in a crunch for time, go to a supermarket for their ready made or made to order party trays! Garlic toast is great too.
Hope this helps!
