If you are asking about the temperatures of the oven or grill:
450-500° high
375-400° medium-high
325-350° medium
275-300° medium-low
225-250° low

If you are speaking of the stove top...the temperature depends on things like the weight of the pan, the size of the burner. I do know that if the recipe says to use a hot griddle (like pancakes)..you can test the griddle by dropping a drop of water on it. If the water dances the griddle is hot and it would be 375°F. That is the temperature you want. There is not a setting which automatically puts your pan to that temperature and keeps it there.
So ideally, I guess, the above temperatures are the temps. you want but putting your stove on med. will not necessarily keep your pan at 325°.



I'm not sure what you mean... are you talking about the stove? Because medium is the middle number, medium high is the number between medium and high, and high is the highest number there is... I think if you were using an oven the recipe would tell you the degrees
