If you have sugar,milk, butter and bread, I have a quick recipe.
Slice bread.Apply thin coat of unsalted butter evenly on both sides, fry on a hot non-greased pan,after bread turns golden brown,dip quickly in milk and sprinkle with sugar on one side and eat.

4 cups flour
1 cup butter
1cup sugar
mix well press into a pan and bake at 350 until golden. Voila! Short bread cookies. Cut while still warm, they`ll hardwn as they cool.

mix sugar with water, dip some bread in it, let the bread dry. boom. you can even add some Cinnamon
