MONDAY = BLUE
TUESDAY = GREEN
WEDNESDAY = NONE
THURSDAY = RED
FRIDAY = WHITE
SATURDAY = YELLOW

It depends on the bakery.
Look on the plastic tag that most bakeries use these days. That's the date I go by.
In Ontario supermarkets they use a date stamped closure tag on bread.
