What is the best summer time alcoholic beverage?!

Question:

What is the best summer time alcoholic beverage?

I am looking for something light, fruity, not too sweet, fizzy and refreshing. Also alcohol should be an ingredient. Thanks!

Mint Juleps are outstanding, mojito's are awesome too. I also like to mix tampico with light rum. I was addicted to this in the Bahamas.

Gin - Hendricks
Cucumbers
Tonic

OR

Gin - bombay safir - Tanqueray - Gilbeys with
Gingerale and ICE

Mike's Hard Lemonade,

frozen margarita's!! light refreshing and delicious!

I like Sea Breezes. If you like grapefruit juice then you'll like this. It's vodka, a little bit a cranberry juice and a little bit more of grapefruit juice. Yum, yum!

frozen strawberry daiquiris:
blend 1 cup strawberries, add 2 1/2 cups water and 2/3 cups sugar, 1/4 cup lime juice, and 1/2 cup light rum
put mixture into an ice cream maker for 25 minutes

-Sex on the Beach
-hypnotic and pineapple juice
-strawberry daquris
-frozen margeritas
-crown and coke (my personal fav)

-anything else that has lots and lots of alcohol in it!!

nothing beats sitting around in the hot sun drinking an ice cold beer

I love sangria.
* red wine,
* chopped or sliced fruit,
* a sweetener such as honey or orange juice,
* a small amount of added brandy, triple sec, or other spirits.
* lemonade or another soft drink
(ingredients taken from Wikipedia)

Pissed off Japanese Minnow Farmer. Essentially a fruity, souped up Long Island. I think it tastes like grapefruit watermelon, the waitress said it was like watermelon jolly rancher. Recipes vary, but the liquors are the same. Bright pink, very refreshing, but super potent so watch yourself and give someone else the keys.

Either a margarita or lemonade with vodka

Gin & tonic - classic.

cadillac margarita

Free kind!

I like cold light drinks during the hot months, so my favorites include: Mojito (made from scratch), Any fresh fruit juice with champagne (Tangerine juice with sliced strawberries is just great), White wine sangria, electric lemonade, or a tequila-jito (High quality silver tequila, pineapple juice, mint sprigs and lemon-lime soda or pelligrino).
Of course, if you're not one for bells and whistles of a mixed drink, an ice cold beer surely won't disappoint.

That depends, are we drinking to get drunk, or just want a drink or two...

to get drunk- I just stick with rum and coke.

for just a drink or two-For summer I like Mikes Hard Lemonade or Limeade....also margaritas are good.

Two of my favorites:

Albermarle Fizz
4 parts gin
1 part fresh lemon juice
Dash of raspberry syrup or Framboise (such as Chambord)
sparkling water

Instructions
Combine the first three ingredients with cracked ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into a highball glass over fresh ice cubes. Fill the glass with sparkling water and garnish with a lemon swirl. This one is also great with lime instead of lemon.

Ruby Red Cocktail
2 parts Absolut Ruby Red vodka
1 part lime sour
1-2 parts chilled club soda

Instructions
Moisten the rim of a cocktail glass with a lime wedge then dip the rim in the sugar.* Mix all ingredients, but sparkling water, with cracked ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and Strain into a martini glass and fill with chilled club soda.

* This is amazing with lemon-ginger turbinado sugar (like Sugar in the Raw), which is easy to make at home. Grate or dice up approximately 1 tsp. fresh ginger and add to 1/2 cup turbinado sugar. Add 1 tsp fresh lemon zest, shake together and keep in the fridge.

Hello, actually as of 2:30 this afternoon, I am enveloping a nice glass of pomegranite cider. Not too sweet, just right. It's called Growers Pomegranite, better than Seagrams. I don't know where you are or if you can get it but it is good stuff!
