Whats the difference between egg roll wrappers and wontons wrapper?!

Question: Egg roll wrappers are made from flour and have texture. Wontons are from rice flour which is smother and thinner than egg roll wrappers. There are some smaller versions of wonton wrappers than can be used for both, but mostly they are too small to fit and roll the ingredients successully.

One is thinner then the other. Check the boxes and compare what they have in them.

i think egg roll wrappers are bigger...wonton smaller

They're interchangeable.

the size and thickness

Won Tons are smaller. As far as I know that's the only difference.

I didn't know wontons came in wrappers.

size and thickness

Good question. Egg roll wrappers end up being fried. Wonton wrappers end up being in soup.

size is the only difference. The wonton wrapper is usually a square about 4" by 4". An egg roll wrapper is a square about 6" by 6".

The egg roll is bigger, so the wrapper for it will be bigger, the wontons are smaller, but theres a lot of them. It would be the egg role wrapper because an egg roll has more mass, and is heavier also, so thye also probably make their bags thicker than wontons because wontons aren't as heavy, even though theres a lot of them, because all they are is fried bread. sort of. And egg rolls have more crap/filling/food inside of them, so like I said, they have more mass. I hope that answers your question.
