I need an idea for a patriotic beverage garnish..I have the "red" and the "blue" but I need the &quo!

Question: I need an idea for a patriotic beverage garnish!.!.I have the "red" and the "blue" but I need the "white"!?
I have the recipe for punch!.!.!.it's just plain old punch!. I want the garnish (things floating in the punch bowl) to be red, white, and blue!. I will be using strawberries for the red, and blueberries for the blue, but I need something white!.

The only thing I can come up with are miniature marshmallows, and frankly, they just don't belong in punch!. Of course it must be edible and non-disolve-able (I know that's not a word!.!.!.but it describes what I mean)!.

Hopefully one of you has the perfect answer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
white cranberries, they're cute and they float!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well this isn't exactly "white" but it would be fun and functional and you wouldn't have to spend any more money!. Make fruit ice cubes--place blueberries and sliced strawberries in your ice trays and it will give the effect of red, white and blue in your punch!. You can sub marashino cherries for the red since they may fit better in your trays than strawberry pieces!.

also IKEA sells star ice cube trays for around 2 dollars--that would make it even cuter!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you're not too clumsy with a knife, you could buy a whole coconut, crack it open and pry out the meat!. I say "if you;re not too clumsy" because I've nearly done myself in prying meat out of a coconut before!.

Two notes:
Save the coconut water inside-you can use it for drinks!.
I'm only 75% sure of the bouyancy of coconut meat!. There is a chance it may sink to the bottom of your punch!. But coconut is so tasty, it's worth a try!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i think the word you search for is SOLUBLE!.!.!.!.!.however as for the item!.!.!.try peeling an apple then slicing it into rings, or carving them into flowers or stars!.

Don't know if Starfruit/4 corners fruit is available where you are, but that would work or lychees, you can buy canned ones at most Asian grocery stores and they taste yummy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

As soon as you said white, I thought of marshmallows too! How weird ha ha!. But yeah, that wouldn't work too well, so lets think :)

Um!.!.!.
Melon (the yellow skinned type, not watermelon)
Apple (without the skin)

Gosh it's difficult to think of something white!
Ha ha!.

Hope I helped, have a nice day! :D xxxWww@FoodAQ@Com

You're right:) marshmellows wouldn't taste well, and would also dissolve!. You could slice some apples, then cut them into little stars with a cookie cutter!. Get a shaker bottle of Fruit Fresh at the grocery store; soak the apples and they won't turn brown (or get mushy, like when you use lemon juice)!. Pears would work too!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

how about lychees!?

i guess you could use sugar too!. use it to frost the rim of a glass like a magherita!. Run a piece of lemon round the rim of the bowl and then put it in a shallow plate of sugar!. the sugar will stick to the rim of the bowl, and voila!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe you could do apple, if you take the peel off!. or white grapes!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
