What are some cheap cocktail ideas?!
We are holding a cocktail party for my sister-in-law and we're on a tight budget any ideas would be appreciated :)

Stick to cocktails that only have 1 or 2 spirits, nice garnishes like pineapple wedges or strawberries can make them look fancier than they are!.
Mix Vodka tropical juice and a dash of cream and shake, serve in a tall glass!.
Mix Vodka Tia Maria and coke for a Black Russian, very yummy!.
Mix Tia Maria , milk and choc topping and top with a tiny ice cream ball in a tall glass!.

My daughter puts out a softened rectangle of cream cheese, with a VERY cheap (about $3) jar of caviar spread over the top, with crackers to spread it on !.!.!.!.!.devilled eggs are good !.!.!.!.!.Make a cheese spread with 8 oz!. shredded cheese (any type you like), 8 oz!. softened cream cheese and pulse in food processor with whatever spices/herbs you like (horseradish, garlic, paprika, chili powder, etc)!.
FANCY FRANKS
1 12-oz!. bottle chili sauce
1 10-oz!. jar grape jelly
1 lb!. cheap hot dogs (cut into 1-2" pieces)
1 large can pineapple chunks, drained
Heat all together in crockpot and serve with toothpicks
Remember to garnish your plates! Parsley is cheap and makes anything look fancier:) Put some artificial Fall leaves around the table!.
PUMPKIN PIE DIP
1 8-oz!. cream cheese, softened
2 c!. powdered sugar
1 15-oz!. can pumpkin pie filling
1 tsp!. cinnamon
1/2 tsp!. ground ginger
Mix all together well and chill (best overnight)!. Serve with apple & pear slices, gingersnaps or graham crackers for dippingWww@FoodAQ@Com

You could buy a reasonably priced bottle of champagne and drop a strawberry in each glass!.!.very pretty!. I don't know how cheap your going to get away with 30 people at a cocktail party!. Making blended drinks like margaritas is another way to save some money!. the tequila is pricey, but the blended ice will stretch it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Most grocery stores have cheap cocktail flavoring in different colors and flavors!.
