What to do at a party in one room?!
My 18th birthday is coming up soon, and I was thinking about renting out an event room at the local Holiday Inn!.
I went to see the room today and it's really nice, but my concern is what are all my friends and i going to do!?
I have the local high school band lined up, but I know no one would dance, so what are we all gonna do an entire night in one room!?
Suggestions PLEASE!

I understand your dilemma,
I'm not sure what your budget is, but some places rent a "picture booth"!. That would be a fun way of keeping your friends entertained for the short term!. Other ideas I had include!.!.!.
Making a "wall card"!. Find the least expensive bulk paper/wall paper you can & provide paint/markers to decorate the wall of your choosing with graffiti, art, messages, etc!.!. in honor of your special day!.
Last, find a d!.j!. to do Karaoke for you and your friends!. After everyone loosens up a bit, singing some songs would be great entertainment AND us up a bulk of the time!

You pass a balloon from person to person (neck to neck, really) down the line!. First team to finish, wins!. It helps break the ice with everyone!.
Another fun thing is to hire a local fortune teller or palm reader to read your guests fortunes!.
Give each person a clothespin as they enter!. They attach it to their clothing!. Choose a “secret word”!. It can be anything related to your Birthday, like- cake, candles, presents, etc!. When someone hears another guest saying the secret word, they take that guest’s clothespin!. The guest with the most clothespins at the end of the party wins a prize!.
