Sky Flying Gorgon Witch,
I used to get so grossed out by anyone who cooked with seaweed because of the simply fact people swim in the ocean and pee in the ocean and their body dirt goes into the ocean also! I dont know call me wierd, but if this is boiled before useing, I would guess it's going to be okay to use! I had a vietnamese friend who's mom would make like these tortilla's out of seaweed!. I tried a couple of bites and was really weary of eating this seaweed because of my thoughts about people in the ocean with it!. When I found out she boiled it first I didn't feel as bad about eating it!. Eventually I quit taking my vietnamese friend up on the offer of taking her Mom's seaweed tortillas!. See they weren't you average looking tortillas!. These were lumpy and caramel colored! The lumps were the seaweed!. Of course!. However, these were a sweet the vietnamese would give to their children for sweets to snack on that were healthy for them!. If I were you we have a Language option on Y/A!. You can use to pick the vietnamese for this question, because they use seaweed to cook with a lot!! Your best bet would be to either ask them or dont take any chances of getting any diseases by eating this raw-form!! And just steam it with other vegees is what I would recommend for you!. Good Luck!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
